I got the Panasonic from Visual Apex. It's a commercial model, meaning no speakers or tuner, but that's fine with me. I have a cable box for tuning and a surround sound audio system. Panasonic and Pioneer are generally known for having the best plasma displays, and the Panasonic was considerably cheaper. The only other piece of equipment I had to buy was the stand.

Very cool. I’m also looking to buy one of these sometimes soon. A few questions:
What made you go with Panasonic? Is that the top of the line?
Did you get it at BestBuy?
Other than the TV itself did you have to spend money on anything else or buy any other necessary equipment?
