Rafa – buying online defeats the point. Half of the Apple fanboy experience is the schadenfreude one gets to experience as one walks out the store with a bag full of shiny Apple goodies, proclaiming your intent to immediately eBay everything for above list price, right in the faces of the rubes at the end of the line who won’t get anything because the store will be sold out.

Ilya, it’s time to let go of your ten-year-old addiction and pick a new one for the next decade! I’m sure web app versions of a lot of those Palm apps will start popping up soon enough… I’m thinking that someone has already started on an iPhone optimized calculomatic, for instance.

okay, let’s be reasonable, one of these mouths is a very very small one, and it’s probably still breastfeeding. I don’t want to even think of you trying to breastfeed. Let’s not go there, whaddaya say?
Seriously, I think the iPhone is going to be pretty darn cool and my contract is up and I could totally upgrade, but I balk at the thought of a phone costing more than a laptop, plus it won’t run all my Palm apps. Freaking James, got me addicted to Palm ten years ago.
